For 150 years, Chateau Clément Termes has been one of the most innovative wine growing of Gaillac region. Originally delivering wines all over France in oak barrels to monks and churchmen, The Chateau remains with the David family - a trusted and awarded producer.
Gaillac Blanc Sec 2017 is a blend of Muscadelle and Loin de l'oeil (literally ‘far from the eye’ ). It has a pale straw yellow colour and it is floral and fruity on the palate with green herb notes.
Currently served for lunch at Gauthier Soho with our Crab & Sea Trout Salad and Scottish Scallops, Gaillac Sec 2017 will go very well with all classic crustacean and seafood or dry cheeses such as Ossau Iraty (sheep) or St Maure (goat).
Currently listed at many of London’s best restaurants, notably Mayfair’s Michelin-starred Brasserie Chavot, Galvin Brothers’ Michelin-starred Galvin La Chapelle and Bistrot de Luxe, Columbia Road favourite Brawn and Mayfair’s Sixty One.
Chateau Clément Termes will drink well now, but will also lay down and improve up to 4 years.
