The Domaine de la Bergerie is in the heart of Coteaux du Layon, in the Anjou region of the central Loire Valley, and encompasses a total of 89 acres.

Domaine de la Bergerie has been a family estate since 1964, when it was purchased by Marie-Scholastique Horeau. It’s currently run by her grandson, Yves Guegniard, and his wife, Marie-Annick.

The domaine has always adhered to high standards of excellence: green harvest, strict sorting and separate vinification of each small parcel. Under Anne’s stewardship, it’s converting to organic viniculture and exhibiting an exciting new energy and exceptional wines.

La Cerisaie is the premier of three red wines produced at the domaine. Intense red-purple in colour, with red and black fruit aromas. Suits rich meats and oily fish such as eel and daube de boeuf.

It’s a superb introduction to the top level red wines of the Loire, from one of the very best producers.

We’re very proud to offer you this wine today, please be aware we have only 90 bottles of the 2014, it is a bin-end and likely to sell out extremely quickly.
