A suberb organic Pecorino/Passerina/Trebbian blend white wine from central Italy. Anyone who's been to the restaurant in the last six months could well have noticed Ciù Ciù served by the glass at lunch, and as you'll undoubtedly know, we choose our lunch wines by the glass extremely carefully.

Says Marco: I chose Ciù Ciù because of its versatility. The pecorino really shines through and because of the relatively high altitude of the vineyard you get a definite extra richness. The wine fills the mouth, fresh but not too acidic, with a good fruitiness and textured, oily roundness. On the nose, white fruit and floral notes really dominate.

At Gauthier Soho we are suggesting Ciù Ciù with the Loire Valley Aparagus currently featuring on the lunch a la carte. Very good value, ready to drink right now, and will see you through until Autumn as a great drinking white with food. Also, as this happens to be a vegan wine we are serving it with our vegan tasting menu.
