Bin end sale: This wine is very limited stock so we are limiting to 2 cases max per order. Please buy as soon as possible.
The 'Vielles Vignes' (old vines) partition of the fabulous Chateau Puynormond. The 2016 was a particularly good year, and has seen demand soar for exclusive entry/medium level Bordeaux for restaurant lists.
Four generations of the Lamarque family have produced this stunning red wine since 1923.
Situated in the commune of Montagne, between prestigious neighbours Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, Chateau Puynormond overlooks an amphitheatre of vines from a clay terrior.
Aromatic red fruits, this medium full-bodied Bordeaux is ideal with full flavoured dishes going into autumn. A Grand Vin ideal for the Saint-Emilion and even Pomerol lover, and especially those who enjoyed the Princess Gaby we offered in July.
Please be aware this is a bin end so there is no more of this vintage available once it is sold. We had secured this as a special Bordeaux to match the Classic Beef Filet on the Gauthier Soho Lunch menu for August.
